The show is well-loved and with the vast pool of characters and alternate costumes MultiVersus could have, one of the Eds could be the series representative for the new game. Using a quick and snappy moveset based around simple punches and kicks would fit with his character in the show and let younger MultiVersus players pick up the game easier.Įd, Edd, and Eddy is a classic from the late '90s and early '00s that involved the three main characters going around town scheming to buy jawbreakers. While the character doesn’t have any defining moves or attacks in his show, he does have a manic, child-like personality. Gumball has been played by multiple voice actors over the run of the show and his character design has been modified slightly, so this might even be an opportunity to introduce multiple skins and separate voice lines. While translating it to a platform fighter might be hard, the game already has Arya Stark in as a playable character on the roster – so this won’t be the strangest property to integrate. The show has a unique visual energy to it with its collage-style animation mixing all sorts of wacky character designs together, even mixing with Don't Hug Me I'm Scared at one point. There are a lot of characters from Cartoon Network’s catalog, like the already-announced Shaggy and Batman, whose personalities would fit right in with the cast of MultiVersus. Warner would be missing out on great opportunities were it not to add stages and characters more geared toward younger audiences.
